The programme titled “Idea to Life”, launched by the Faculty of Medicine (FM) of the University of Debrecen for university students and young researchers (hereinafter: the Programme), provides support to the students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen, as well as the PhD students and young researchers of the related doctoral schools in order to validate their innovative ideas and to strengthen the approach aimed at the exploitation of such ideas in the health industry. The involvement of the target group in the program contributes to the development of the third mission activity of the university: it creates new forms of opportunities to enhance the relationships between the university and the industry and to extend the transfer of knowledge to new areas.
